Friendship and Sharing (Box 18.6)

The proverb says, “the possessions of friends are shared”—and it says this correctly, for friendship consists in sharing, and siblings and comrades hold all things in common. (Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics 8.9.1–2)1

All who believed were together and had all things in common. (Acts 2:44).
